Guiding Our Youth
Youth Court is one of the most important resources the Judicial System offers when it comes to making a positive impact on young people's lives. Frank Farmer is dedicated to putting his experience working to protect the interests of the children in our State to work for the citizens of Hinds County. As Hinds County Court Judge, Frank Farmer will work to apply the law in a manner that is both firm and fair with the goal of being a positive influence in the lives of those who appear in Youth Court so that they do not appear as an offender in the Judicial System again.
Judicial Economy
Frank Farmer wants to insure that Taxpayers' resources are used in the most efficient way possible when it comes to administering justice in Hinds County. While our County Courts operate relatively free from back-log, our Circuit and Chancery Courts do not. Thankfully, the Mississippi Code provides a mechanism, seldom used, that allows a County Court Judge to accept case assignments from the Circuit and Chancery Courts. Frank Farmer's vision for the County Courts is to more fully utilize the provisions provided by the Legislature so that the court dockets in this county move more efficiently.
